"What is up with you and all these Animals!"
Man's "Best" Friend
Isn't it strange that when we say "man's best
friend" we're referring to a DOG and not to another human being!
Why is it that we would rather be with our animals or escape to our gardens
with our flowers than other people! Is it because animals will always
give us unconditional love and affection regardless of who or what we
are!
Let's look at exactly what Dogs and/or Animals can teach us.
- Always loyal and always your friend.
- Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
- Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
- They never get into an argument with us.
- Never pretend to be something there're not.
- Will always listen to you without interruption.
- Thrive on attention and let people touch them.
- Enjoy it when someone wants to rub their tummy.
- If what they want lies buried
dig until they find it.
- Wait for you to come home with gusto and enthusiasm.
- They never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.

- When loved ones come home they always run to greet them.
- When it's in their best interest they always practice obedience.
- When you are happy they dance around and wag their entire body.
- They give so much understanding that the situation always gets
better.
- When we are having a bad day they sit silently close by and nuzzle
gently.
- They give us so much love and understanding that the situation
always gets better.
- They always want to experience the fresh air and the wind in
their face and relish it to be pure ecstasy.
- They never blame you for anything you do. Is it that they realize
better than us that blaming has no positive effect!
- No matter how often they are criticized, they don't buy into
the guilt thing and pout but run right back and make friends.
Kinda sounds like the qualities of a "Best Friend" doesn't
it! Are you anyone's "Really Special Best Friend" or is that
honor saved for an animal?
Wouldn't life be simple if you were a dog, an eagle, a lion, a monkey,
a
?
What Makes These Animals So Special!
Animals
will always give you unconditional love and affection no matter what.
Animals share the same virgin innocence when they are born as children
do. They only know what they are taught. Treat them with love and affection
and they will be your friend for life. Wouldn't
it be a special world if everyone kept that same pure innocence that they
were born with!
Fortunately, animals do. Animals only learn to survive and to protect
their young.

Children
learn whatever traits their parents have
good
or bad!
Have you ever "personally" been with a "mother" giving
birth and experienced the miracle of life right in front of your eyes!

Remember
Our
Children will inherit this World
Good or Bad
Right
or Wrong
Whatever We
Leave for Them!

Will They be Allowed to enjoy the
Peace and Freedom that Others Do?

So I Ask You
Who is "YOUR" Best
Friend?
The last special thought I would like to share with you is one that I've
held very close to me for a number of years and puts a lot of feelings
into perspective.
The little child whispered, "God, speak to me." And a meadowlark
sang.
But the child did not hear. So the child yelled, "God, speak to me!"
And the thunder rolled across the sky.
But the child did not listen. The child looked around and said, "God
let me see you." And a star shone brightly.
But the child did not notice. And the child shouted, "God show me
a miracle!" And a life was born.
But the child did not know. So the child cried out in despair, "Touch
me God, and let me know you are here!" Where upon God reached down
and touched the child. But the child brushed the butterfly away and walked
away unknowingly.
Take time to listen. Oftentimes, the things we seek are right underneath
our noses. Don't miss out on your blessings because it isn't packaged
the way that you expect.
